it would depend on what view you see it from!. piano takes years to master and takes alot of discipline and time!. strings, excluding guitar, are hard because you need to know where the notes are!. brass and woodwind instruments are hard because they require a constant airflow to continue the note!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My Father plays the Piano Accordian in a country dance band,(self taught), and he tried to teach us as kids!.!.!.!.!.!.it is without a doubt the hardest instument to learn to play, the rapid hand co-ordination of both hands (one on buttons, one on keyboard ) is the thing I could never master!., but I did learn how to read and write music from my lessons, so not all was lost !Www@QuestionHome@Com

My vote is for harp!. I play a little of lots of instruments, and my few months on harp were the toughest for me!. Part of the problem was my double jointed thumbs, but it also just seems to take so much more focus and practice than any other instrument I've played!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i play guitar now that I'm in high school but when i was really little i tryed the saxophone and i just remember it being really hard because my hands were so small i would accidentally push all the buttons on the side and then blow and it made a awful noise! ha ha (-:Www@QuestionHome@Com

FLUTE!. I can play other woodwinds (even the double-reeded ones) and brass instruments fairly well, but I can't produce a sound on a flute! also, the reed on a clarinet is much to small for my liking!.!.!.!. I'll stick to alto sax and bass clarinet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

oboe and bassoon u hav to hold it on ur lips hard enough to make a noise but not enough to make both reeds touch cuz it is double reeded which makes it very complicatedWww@QuestionHome@Com

violin because u hav to worry about posture holding it bowing it!. really i have been playing for like 6 months and its not coming completely naturally yet!.!.!.its difficult but not impossible thats how it is with all instrumentsWww@QuestionHome@Com
