Question: Are Synthesizer Keyboard tunable if notes are out of tune like a real piano!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Apparently yes!.!.!.!.Their are oscillators for each note that are pre-tuned or something like that!. If the note is off ex the C-note, than, all the C-notes are off!.

That is how it works!. I can't get indetails since this is out of my reach but i have seen this in person by an electronic technician!.

Now, their is software which can actually tune any synthesizer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. Most digital synths and digital instruments are essentially recordings of the real thing!. Most modern electronic keyboards have the ability to adjust the master tuning/pitch of the instrument and perhaps different tuning systems other than equal temperament for the playing of early music!. Through various MIDI protocols there is the ability to achieve incremental pitches for special effects but that gets pretty intense!. Unlike a real piano you are at the mercy of the engineers and designers of a keyboard who have predetermined what you get!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Synthesizers and keyboards are digital and based on silicon chip boards!. They do not go out of tune ever!. Unlike pianos and real organs or fender rhodes, there are no working parts like stings and hammers that need adjustment from time to time!.

That said, I do believe some synths can be programmed with different tones (semi-tones for example) if that is what you wish to play!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
