Distortion pedal!.
The guitar sound just comes from the magnetic pickups translating the vibration of the metal strings!. Your tone is more about your amp and stomp boxes!.
I recommend the Metal Muff with overdrive played thhrough a Marshall full tube half stack!.
Turn up your bass and gain and turn down your treble!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

See if you can get your hands on a multi-effects pedal, which will give you several different sounds, such as different types of distortions, reverb, flange, reverb, chorus, and other effects!.

You just plug your guitar into it, and then plug it into your amp!. There are a TON of different multi-effects pedals out there, from cheaper ones under $100 to really expensive ones that run about $400-$500!.

You can find them new or used online, but you can also find some used at your local pawn shops, or even on Craigslist!.

Read up on them online, just look up "multi-effects pedal" in Google and find one you may like!.

They are made exactly for players like you who want to get a certain sound out of your guitar, but you aren't spending thousands of $$$ on the types of guitars and amps that the rock stars play to get their sound!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Turn up the gain! :D

Sound is mainly the amp quality!.!.!. but if you think there is a problem with your guitar, get it checked out!.!.!.

Try different strings!? wudnt have thought it would make alot of difference tho!.!.!. play around with the settings on your amp!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
