There are two things: the pedigree of the instructors/professors and the success stories of the school!. If the instructors have achieved professional success in their respective fields, the university will brag about it telling you all the prestigious awards received by each, where they have performed and with whom they have performed!. You might have more difficulty finding out who has gone to the university, but there is probably an office that controls public information and you could contact them and ask them!.

It's good to know the reputation of a university amongst established performers!. It might not be possible to find that information, but you could always do an internet search of the university in question to see if it has a reputation comparable to Julliard!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
