Question: Is it ok for men to sing eva cassidy songs!?

I really like Eva Cassidy songs (especially Songbird and Over The Rainbow), but is it ok for men to sing them, or does it seem a bit!.!.!.!.!.!.gay!?!?!?!?

The songs that Eva Cassidy sang really don't really relate to any gender at all!. She recorded quite a number of songs that are standards!.
In fact all songs are really just something to use to express our emotions and any reasonable musician should be able to grab hold of a song and make it their own, a perfect example is the sing Angilique Kidjou sing Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Child!.

I think that if somebody is comfortable with a tune and it means something to them well do it!. And if it has no meaning or feeling, it's not worth adding to the repertoire!.

Because of the variations in the texture of male and female voices some songs just don't sound right!.

considering that eva cassidy did mostly covers, including some from guy singers (eg a sting/police song), then it shouldn't really matter

although saying that, 'over the rainbow' probably would be considered 'gay' as that film is supposed to have a rather large gay followingWww@QuestionHome@Com
