you can play 80s metal on any pedal, but it will sound better on some than others!.

The Metal Core lacks any alteration of mids!. You are basically stuck with one nasally grinding razor sharp distortion sound, and you can only alter the amound of gain!.

Id suggest the Metal Zone, or even better yet, the Metal Muff by EHX!. It nails 70s and 80s metal tones (Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Scorpions!.!.!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
