Question: Is it bad to take vocal lessons even though I never want to sing professionally!?

I want to learn how to sing because I always wanted to learn how, I want to improve my breathing technique, and I want to eventually be good enough to join the choir!. All of the other people who sign up for the class are in a high school with a music based curriculum!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
