Actually I wouldn't waste my time trying to audition for the "biggest music companies"!. They're so corporate, and so driven by the bottom line (Profit), that they won't even listen or look at an artist or band that doesn't already have a substantial regional fan base and the potential to sell at least 100,000 copies of their first CD!. If you're still an undiscovered nobody, forget it!.

Your best bet, IMO, is to audition or submit a demo to some small independent music labels!. They don't have to sell a minimum of 100,000 copies of a CD to break even, they can turn a profit on sales of 10,000 or so, and so they're more willing to take a chance on unknown talent!. OR record a CD and sell it yourself on CDBaby!.com, publicize yourself on MySpace or create your own website!. And form a band and play out in front of live audiences as much as you possibly can to generate a fan following for yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well!.!.!. since you are already so wonderful at singing and writing lyrics, then you should be going to auditions because you will never becoming a paid singer/songwriter if you don't audition and you sound like a natural to me!.

Subscribe to backstage!.com and that lists all the auditions you can go to!.!. I can't imagine you won't impress them with your natural talents!.

Sony/BMG is the largest music company in the world, I believe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First u have to sure u dont have stage fright!. Next perform in a talent show or something!. Make or join a band!. Do a local concert!. Keep performing for a while!. Then join American Idol or try to get someone who has connections to a music company!. Tell them to come to your next performance!. Do your best and record it!. That is unrealilistic since billions of others have the same dream but be optmisticWww@QuestionHome@Com

I would consider a move to seattle as it is the top of the music scene at present or denver coWww@QuestionHome@Com
