In music, soli refers to one section playing only!. This means that only the flutes or whatever section of the band that has the soli plays!. This is different from a solo, where only one person plays the main melody!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am a flute player and I know that it means all the flutes play!.it's like a solo for all flutes!.Don't feel bad I didn't know this either until asked my instructor!. :DWww@QuestionHome@Com
