3rd position on viola?

Question: 3rd position on viola!?

i've been playing viola for around 5 years but havent learned 3rd position on the finguring board can someone please tell me thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

all you do is shift up so your first finger is where your third finger normally goes!. you can get some etude books like wolfhart to practice it, or just try playing some scales in third position!. just watch the half steps!. it takes some getting used to adjust your brain to reading the music in third position!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
