Question: Desire to become drum major!?

Hi, I have wanted to be drum major for as long as i could remember!. I know you must be dedicated!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I have a full year ahead of me!. I want to try out in May of next year!. Please tell me some things that I can do to increase the chances of the director choosing me!. Like ways that I can stand out more as a leader!. I don't know!.!.!. I would offer to help out any time you can!. Kiss up alot!. but not a noticeable amount!. also DONT PLAY THE TUBA! Stupid directors seem to not let tuba players be drum majors which is really unfair!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
