Question: Whats the point of getting an agent when you are a screenwriter!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Studios do not accept unsolicited queries or screenplays!. They will only read screenplays submitted by agents!.

If your script would suit an independent production company's style and small budget, maybe you don't need an agent!. But if making the film properly would take money, an agent is a must!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you can do an agent's job by submitting your work directly to the entity willing to contract with you then no agent is necessary!.

It is obvious that if you know all the contacts necessary for a contract and they are willing to work directly with you rather than through an agent the choice is clear!.

What's with all the question marks!? Only one should suffice!. You should know that if you're a screenwriter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
