Yamaha is very good buddy!. also, have a look at Takamine!. They hare less expensive, the action and sound are incredible as well as the playability!.
What I like about them, is that once, they are set, they stay in tune and worry-free!.

Yamaha tends to be more picky as for tuning!. That is all related to the quality of the machine head!.
I repair all makes and the one that least shows up for repair!.!.!.!.Takamine!. ! Weird but that;s the scope!.
Martin is good buy a very fussy guitar and you have to really really take care of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just about any guitar is good for a beginner, because you need to see if someone is going to take it seriously enough, to practice often enough, to make it worthwhile to spend more money on a really good guitar!.
Many people spend too much on a guitar only to find that the person looses interest of just won't put the work into it that is required to practice and improve; thus , the money is waisted!.
1!. a poor guitarist can NOT make ANY guitar sound good!.
2!. a good guitarist can make ANY guitar sound good!.
3!. a great guitar can only sound great with a great guitarist!.
Spend at your level - you can always do better when you can do better !!Www@QuestionHome@Com
