Question: Guitar Now Drum Later!?
I am 15 years old, I have been playing guitar since i was 12 and a half, i'm pretty good i think!. But i also think i would enjoy learning the drums (a set) and my question is what would be a good time to switch!? It would have to be after i turn 16!? Whats a good beginner set for under $750!? Or should i just switch to drums now!? I can't do both, i am bad at multi-tasking instruments!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can switch anytime you want!. I had to switch from guitar to drums ONLY because someone stole my guitar!. IF they hadn't stole it!.!.!.I still would have continued playing guitar at 15!.

A good beginner kit!?
A good beginner kit for under $750!? Check out the Tama Imperialstar for $700 and it comes complete with hardware &
3 or 4 Meinl cymbals included too!. Meinl are pretty good cymbals!. The higher end ones are much better in sound though!. You can also upgrade your cymbals later after you've been drumming for a while!. It's no big deal really!.
also, check out the DDrum "PUNX" kits too!.
They are under $800 too!. also, you can look on Ebay for good USED kits too!.

Pick up a used 4 or 5 piece set out of the paper!. You're a beginner so you won't notice the difference!. The most important thing you can pick up on your set is quality cymbals and good hardware!.

Why are you quitting guitar!? Are you looking to learn a number of instruments or have you just decided that drummers get the prettier girls!? (It's true they do!. Guitar players just get the easy ones!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is a smart idea to switch to drums if you can keep a steady beat and can plan ahead!. I used to play drums and i learned how to keep a beat then i moved to guitar!. Learn to drum and it could help your guitar skillsWww@QuestionHome@Com
