Who is the most prolific composer, still living?

Question: Who is the most prolific composer, still living!?

I'd like to say Henry Mancini, excpet he passed away!. But how about John Williams or the Artist formerly known as Prince!. Both have made great work over the years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Touchy question!. Many composers churn out much commercial work, such as film scores, commercials, dance music, etc!. - but are not making ART - they know that, and do their own private and serious composing when they so desire!. Yes, there is considerable skill involved in writing those types of music - but music for ART's sake gets written more slowly (who writes as fast as Mozart did!?!? Nobody, I would venture!.)
So - the term *composer* is like the term *musician*!. Many would wish to be called those names, but fewer actually deserve them in a genuine or honorific capacity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I agree with mamianka, there is really no one composer who sees his/her own composition through from initial notation through finished score!. All of the old school composers from film orchestrated their own works!.!.!.now - watch the credits sometime - it will show something like "music composed by!.!.!. ' !.!.!. "orchestrations by!.!.!.!."
