Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Heck, yes I've had stage fright! It always happens about 10 minutes before the show starts and I feel like I'm about to throw up!. My solution is to just get so involved in what you're doing that you forget about everything else!. It sounds corny, but it happens and it's better advice than to pretend that everyone is naked!. My director that I work with is always telling us how no one has ever seen us perform before, so just have fun out there!. My other solution is to never look directly at a crowd, or focus on faces!. If you know that your best friend is sitting out there, don't look!!!! And not worry about the audience or making a mistake!. I've always had stage fright!.!.!.it doesn't go away completely!. I use to perform without by contacts just so the audience was a big blur!. Really use the rehearsal period to hone your skills and know the flow of the show!. When you become more confident in your skills and begin to enjoy the process, the stage fright should be less!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I have something called Social Anxiety Disorder which I would describe as stage fright 24/7! The stage is actually the only place I DO feel comfortable! The trick I use is to get to know my character!. eg!. Where do they live!? How old are they!? Whay do they like to do!?!.!.!. every aspect of their life even if I have to make it up!. Then when I get on stage, the audience is not looking at ME they are looking at the character I made up in my head!.
