If you are referring to Bach's toccata and fugue in D minor my opinion is that I do not prefer this piece for this event!.!.!.however, would you consider playing Widor Toccata in F Major !.!.!.!.It is majestic and memorable!.!.!.and gives you a sense of regality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A Toccata is by nature a piece of music which is a brilliant show-piece designed to display the performer's skills!. Hardly a good choice for a procession in either direction!. The fugue is a complex contrapuntal piece in a number of voices, so hardly the right choice for a church service!.

You'd want to choose something a bit more stately to lend solemnity to the occasion, and something more reverent as the prelude to worship to begin the service, and something more celebratory as the recessional in the spirit of glorifying God!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
