From the GA30 owner's manual:

Flat tuning -
You can use Meter mode or Sound mode to tune to a pitch that is lowered by 1–5 semitones (b – b b b b b) for the specified note!.
1!. As described in "Meter mode" or "Sound mode," make the note you wish to flatten by 1–5 semitones appear in the display!.
2!. Press the [FLAT] switch to select the number of semitones that you wish to lower the selected note!. The display will indicate b – b b b b b (1–5 semitones)!. (This setting is not remembered when you turn the power off!.)
3!. Tune your instrument!.

In your case, you want to tune down one semitone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To the answerer above - if you are a female luthier, you would know that a mere 100 lbs of pressure differential ain't squat!. If it is even a 100 lbs difference!. Necks don't warp *backwards* because of less pressure, they warp because of humidity and neglect - and only warp forwards if there's too much pressure, too much pull, on the neck due to a gauge of string massively too thick for the neck and truss rod to support!.

I play half step down myself - nothing wrong with it!. It loosens up the strings, darkens the tone a little bit, and makes the guitar sound a little different, all without changing fingering patterns!. I sing better with the guitar half-step down, too, so there you go!.

I use this very tuner myself - you can use the b method or you can leave it normal and just remember the notes to shoot for -

E A D G B E -> D# G# C# F# A# D#

A# will probably show up as Bb, and D# may show up as Eb!.

First hand, why do you want to tune your guitar half step down!? Will you play better or what!. It is very bad for the guitar neck in the long run!.

You are putting 100 lbs less on the neck which could warp the neck backward!.
Your choice!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
