Sometimes, just like many other things you need to practice being in front of people saying your lines or practicing what ever you need to practice!. Let your self just be a goof in front of people that you know are coming to watch you perform along with those you are performing with!. And most important do not tell anyone or your self that you have stage fright, just let your self suck up all your fears and let your self go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pretend that you are someone famous, then because you are them you have all the confidence in the world!.!.!.!.!.!.going on stage is a natural thing to you!.!.!.!.Who is your favourite singer!? Pretend to be him!.!.!.!.
this way you will feel totally at ease, don't think about going on stage to much and don't tell anyone your nervous or talk to them about it as it will freak you out even more!.
It is possible that this girl fancy's you!. It is definate that she likes you as a person though, as she's gone to so much trouble to involve you/compliment you!. The only way you can find out is to ask her!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I've been performing for a long time, and the best way for you to get over it is to do it!. Quite a lot!.

Another way is to imagine your reaction to someone else making a mistake, perhaps one that you often make!. You wouldn't make fun of them, or even remember it for very long afterwards, and they won't either!.

They are just people, many of them have come to hear their own kids sing, and honestly won't give you much thought, unless you do particularly well!.

Nobody who has performed anything will feel anything but sympathy for you making a mistake!. Unless they are complete morons, and as such, their opinion doesn't matter anyway!.

Thats the best advice I can offer at the moment!. So go out there and have fun!

Good luck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

well the only thing i can say is just eliminate the audience from your mind if you are into the music thats all that matters and if you are in a choir obviously you know how to sing so show it off there is nothing to hide or be embarresed of remember the people oput there dont have the balls to get up there so to hell with what they think and i promise when you finish people will tell you how good it sounded and you will be suprised how many will!. well good luck and go through with itWww@QuestionHome@Com

I performed in a theatre for six years!. When you're on stage, the lights are so bright you can't see the audience anyway!. You'll feel nervous but once you're out there it's the best feeling in the world!. Revel in it!. You'll love it, trust me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

have fun and if you really get into the song you will forget about the audience!. Do a song your comfortable with!. Enjoy yourself!. Don't worry about anything but that song!Www@QuestionHome@Com

um!.!.!.wow that sux!.!.!.but maybe u should pretend like no one else is there!.!.!.and just pik somewere to look !.!.!.dont look at the girl u like , that wouldnt end well!.!.!.!.but i really dont know !.!.!.i have stage fright too but im not in chior or anything

just relax, enjoy it, smile, women like confidence, you never know, ask her, or if shes not tied up with anyone go for the kiss!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't gone on stage!Www@QuestionHome@Com

practice practice practiceWww@QuestionHome@Com

imagine the whole audience in their underwear, and don't make eye contact with any audience members!!

and maybe!.!.!. =]]Www@QuestionHome@Com

First thing is: be optimistic! Make light of the thing!. After all, think of how impressed she'll be if you do good!. Stage fright is NOT a physical thing, it is purely mental!. And you control your brain, so the decision to be afraid is purely yours!. The best way to get over it is to keep doing it alot, but since you need to perform tonight that won't help you!. Here are some things that might:

1!. Dring lots of water as a vocalist, and do basic voice excercised to make sure your voice doesn't crack/miss pitch!. Try some of the things listed here, http://www!.singinglikepro!.com/vocal-exer!.!.!.

2!. Make sure you know what your singing and keep singing it to yourself all day, focusing on the parts you don't know as well!.

3!. If people tell you you have a good voice, don't worry about it! You'll do great!. Besides, after about the first solo you won't feel as nervous and your singing will really improve!. Just be confident in yourself and the abilities you know you have!.

Hope this helps and good luck!

If you are serious about wanting to know how to get over stage fright and at the same time you tell yourself before you go into the audition or during any performance itself things like; "I hope I don't mess up, I hope I don't get nervous!. I hope I don't forget anything!. I hope I don't freeze in front of the group!.", you are putting yourself in a position to think about what you don't want!. Your imagination will go there and recreate that image of all those negative things you keep telling yourself!. Your focus is on the wrong things! You said you wanted to know how to get over stage fright, so now you know what you have to do!? What kinds of things will you tell yourself the next time you go into a performance or an audition!? Positive things! Good things! You will give a great performance! You will be very comfortable in front of your audience! See yourself doing that!. If you have to, close your eyes, BREATHE deeply before you go in and visualize yourself being brilliant!. How confident will you be while you are performing!? You know your lines!. You know what you have to do!. You are in the character!. You feel it! You can see that you feel what you are acting! You are confident and you will be brilliant! Hope that helps!.!.!.!.!.!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
