Whats the first step to be an actress?

Question:ive been dancing since i was 2 and take it very seriously and it is my love. i also sang in a choir for a couple of years and had lessons for 4 years but stopped a little while ago [which i regret]. but i really want to do more meaning act. ive always wanted to be an actress but never had the time and money for classes when i was younger. im 15 now and dont know if it is too late to go after my dream. i have been asked to model over 15 times so im pretty sure i have a good look for the buisness, but what i need to know is how to get serious about it. i dont want to jsut take acting classes, i really want to get into the lime light quick but i know thats everybodys dream and goal but what to do first, get an agent, take classes first and take it slow] ? please anything will be fine i jsut want it so badly its insane and my parents are behind me 100% jsut so u know

Take acting classes, then consider getting an agent if you ge tany offers. Look for offers as well... don't start out spending a bunch of money on an agent when you're not even sure if it will happen.

No one ever gets into the limelight right away, if at all. It's a very very very hard thing to accomplish.

I suggest just doing some things at your community theatre. It gives you an oppertunity to get some experience as well as insiders in the theater world. Also try to go to any kind of summer camps or classes.

Chase your dreams--you`ll catch them. You need enthusiasm, energy and you NEED to be able to switch your tones when necessary. You also have to sound convincing. Good luck!
