i do well i used to play its easy at first then like all things in life they get harder

I do not play the violin, but I do play flute, euphonium and I dable in piano.

The key is to practice, practice, practice!

It is not hard to learn an instrument, as long as you are dedicated.

Playing any instrument takes lots of practice. Some people take to certain instruments better than other instruments. For example, I play a few instruments, but any instrument with a reed is difficult for me. French horn is difficult for me too, but trombone fits my embouchure better.

I play cello because my fingers are large and I had difficulty playing violin. Another music teacher suggested I play cello vs. violin due to my fingers.

If you are practicing everyday for approximately 30 minutes, but still are struggling after a couple of months, you might want to look into another instrument. Playing an instrument should be fun and enjoyable to do.

Try to figure out what it is that is causing you so much grief and see if there is an alternative to it. My fingers had troubles making certain notes play in tune on violin, but I find it far more enjoyable and successful to play cello. Maybe another instrument family fits you better? Investigate it. Just remember to enjoy what you play! :-)

i play the violin. :]
its...different for every person.
some have the talent, some don't.
some have the patience, some don't.
you have to be able to accept mistakes, and learn from them.
hahah, but i think that if you really love the violin, and you put your heart to it, you'll do great.
for me, its was kind of hard at the beginning, then it got easier, and then it got harder.
good luck!
