Position:Home>Performing Arts> Piano festival?

Question:alright, i play the piano and have for 6 years, i'm entering festival and it's only my second year entering, but my piano teacher put me in a class that is really advanced, she says i am perfectly capable of doing a good job, the judges won't judge easier because i'm new, so i'm really nervous, and practicing hasn't been going well, it seems like my song is getting worse, what can i do to calm my nerves and get back to perfecting my piece?

I have been playing piano for 8 years. and gone to festival 7 of those 8.
I always feel that same way every year. Just practice everyday. And i know the judges wont go any easier one you because your new, but thats how it is.
here are some tips on how to get better score.

1. Keep hair out of your eyes.. it really works.
2. never stop smiling ... even if u mess up.
3. walk in standing tall, and confident.
4. sit up strait on the bench.
