What size upright Bass should a 5'4 student play? VERY IMPORTENT?

Question:i want to switch from playing violin to a Bass.

You could play either 3/4 or full size. I'm about that height and I play full size. I just don't take the endpin out very far.

i'd say 3/4.
i was talking to a bass player and he said almost noone plays full size basses....
