Chord Transitions are confusing. I remember my first year of guitar, I couldn't transition from A# to a B chord. It's gonna take more than 2 weeks to get chord transitions down. The best way to practice these is trying to go from a G chord to an F chord. Constantly practice that, and get it down until you can do it in your sleep. If you get that down, you should be able to nail almost any transition until you get into the complex stuff like augmented chords, diminished chords, blah blah blah....It's all about patience. Remember, practice makes perfect.

I don't see how it's too difficult transition to accomplish. If you have your middle finger on the fourth string second fret, ring finger on the fifth string 3rd fret. Just move both fingers up one string and put your pinky on the first string, 3rd fret and you have your G chord.

Just keep practicing, transitioning will come in time.

Practice going back and forth between C and G with 4 beats on each chord. do it a thousand times and you will train your brain to connect to the hand for that chord change. A lot of playing the guitar is not on the conscious level. The brain learns to move the fingers without thinking. All you have to do is continually play the same patterns over and over again until the connection is made.

oh i hate doing that. there are different ways to play the chords though so that you can make the transitions alot easier.
click on the diff links with the chord you want and it will show numerous ways to play them. find easier ones to use and the transitions should'nt be that much harder really. also try playing with the music. and sometimes it takes more than 2 weeks. patience young padiwan ;)
