Question:k so here's what' going on with this guitar. first thing i did with it was move the strap button from the back of the guitar to the top of one of the horns (to help with the balance of the guitar,, there's still a hole in the back of the guitar from where the button used to be). Next, i replaced the pickups with seymour duncans (sh-1 '59 in neck/sh-4 JB in bridge). While doing this mod i found that one of the volume pots was busted, so, i replaced that too. Aswell, the headstock recently broke off the guitar. i had a professional repair it and now there is just a visible hairline fracture (the guy who fixed it said that the headstock connection would be even stronger now and that it would even help with the intonation of the guitar. i have yet to prove him wrong.)

so how much could i sell this guitar for (keep in mind that the guitar goes for about $400 and thepickups cost me about 190$ plus instalation)

please help me out here!

i guess ill take the pessimistic route but i would personally ask 400 but i would take aaround 250-300..a busted neck is something that i would run from fast regardless of what yer luthier (guitar repairman) said he may have done an awesome job however noone else knows that u didnt do it in yer basement...the pickups and the body are probly in good shape but having the pots replaced is 5 bux and 10 mins for most people to do...so i would take my answer as the lowball guy cuz i see alot of people that were not very brainy paying more then u have into yer guitar for what u have..it all depends on how long u want to wait to sell it
