Question:Depends where.....you won't go to jail that's for sure.....if your good and can play say spanish classical like Flamenco....there are many busy places like train subways and shopping places you could try.......In Japan there's Yogi park on Sundays....anywhere in Japan, they are very tolerant with Geigins. ( Foreigners)

depends where you are really. there are soliciting rules in some areas. just ask your town/city hall, generally playing on a sidewalk somewhere would probably be fine.

It's called "busking". It's technically illegal in a lot of places, but usually nobody will hassle you unless somebody complains.

This is called busking. It's really fun to do but in some places it's illegal. You might want to check to laws in certain areas. Check the places that are art and music appreciative so you have more of a chance of and audience and mulah. Hope I helped.
