What kinda guitar should i buy?? i looking for under 300$?

Question:i have never played guitar befor and i hope 2 learn how to play but i am going to buy a guitar soon and i was wondering what kind of guitar should i buy???? and im looking for a guitar under 300$ or 300$ i know thats cheap of me but its my first guitar.. ill buy a good one when i get betterand can i get advice of what kind of guitar should i buy after i learn and become good?? and i am making a band and thats the only reason imma learn how yo play the guitar please help i promise to give a best answer to anyone who can help me the MOST even if it is a short answer

the are many brands who make just as good a guitars as the top brands, they just dont have the name to bump the price up, or dont want to as part of there sales plan. yamaha is the main one of the these companies. yamaha has great guitars which produce great sounds, not at a big price. epiphone should be looked at aswell. if your looking cheap, ignore replies such as the one saying IBANEZ!!!!!

Well when you start out learning an instrument, you don't necessarily need the best guitar out there. Just go to your local music shop and ask around. What's a good guitar? Is this brand popular? What does it come with? Also compare the prices. and if the guitars are free to try, hook it up to an amp and feel the sound of it. Choose which one feels right to you.

thinking about getting that package myself along with some tortex picks and a stand. just look under "value packs" if you dont like that one. after i get decent i'm probably gonna buy a les paul standard from epiphone cause i'm poor :D
