What'cha think of my poem? (kindness please)?

Question:i wasn't born to be a sailor
i wasn't born to be a soldier
i wasn't born to be a cop not in the least
i wasn't born to be a scientist
or to tame wild beasts

i wasn't born to be a criminal
or to go up in a spaceship
i wasn't born to be a pilot flying high in the sky
i wasn't born to be a comedian or your average cable guy

what is my purpose
i've been trying to tell since i was 10
but i've come to culdesacs in my life
that start to look like dead ends

then one day i found music
nestled in my heart
i knew what i was meant to do
and picked up that guitar

i was born to be an artist
but not the kind with paint
i was born to be an artist, but not a rock n' roll saint
i was born to play the music that i hear in the street
i was born to play the music that someday i'll meet

That's an amazing peom...send it to a publisher...my friend who is 12 got a really great peom published and yours is better then hers!
