Position:Home>Performing Arts> Basic requirements for high school color guard?

Question:I'm trying out for color guard in May and I wanted to get a head start on the game by practicing what I will need to know for tryouts before the clinics begin. I already know how to do drop spins, basic tosses (not parallel) and I think I know how to do extensions (holding the stopper and twirling the flag up in front of you then down behind your back). If you caould tell me anything else I would need to know for high school color guard tryouts I would appreciate it!

Well, in my district that's all you need to know to tryout. Then during band camp you learn all of the advanced things. I think you're good to go for color guard! You're definitely ahead of everyone else! :)
