Question:i have to sing a song for my sisters wedding. however there is one note in the song that is way too high. cant i just sing it lower.....like instead of going up go down? or will that sound retarted. i dont know what else to do. please help.

Have you thought about staying on the same note instead of going up? Occasionally I've had to either go down or stay on the same note. You also might look at going up just a third, if the song has you going up a fifth. (A third is three whole steps, a fifth is five whole steps) Hope this helped.

you COULD...but it might end up sounding wierd...

and if wors comes to worse, you could just sing the whole song an octave lower...

It depends. Sometimes it sounds all right, sometimes it sounds like crap. You could try dropping it down an octave. Also, harmonies of a third or a fifth usually sound the best. So, if you can't drop it a full octave, try dropping it by a third or fifth.
