Need a Song! X-Factor...?

Question:Great, i have an x factor audition on the 19th of April but i have no songs to sing!

Can anyone recomend any?

The styles i prefer are Soul or powerful songs!

Hey Hope you make it into your x factor thing,, I have never heard of it but sounds cool my faimily whatches idol.. CANT SPELL EITHER..

but you might want to try the song --- i'm going down---- mary . j.blige.

or -- Fallin - alicia keys.

or maybe some christina agulera song... like Reflection, or somthing..

also maybe some areatha franklin, You better be able to sing thta really well though and areatha song , CAN somtimes be murder.. and since you dont have much time to prepare i think it is a little risky but hey.

I would suggest looking back tooo, Dont just go with new artast like christina and stuff the artist popular with kids and teens theese days, but also look at older artists and songs..

Maybe ask your parent's what songs they know of..

as they will know those older songs, from 60's and 70's cause that is prob when they were kids, SOOOOOOOOOOO

hey, i think celine dion songs are great to sing as they are powerful and have a lovely meaning to them..

i think (its all coming back to me) is my fave song to sing

First of all re read your contract, you are not actually allowed to tell people you have an audition! I knwo because I have been doing it for years. Second, where abouts are you venue wise?

Try and pick something that isn't too old for you and trust me when I say that you need osmething that you can sing no matter how nervous you get. Another tip don't go for something huge because you don't meet the famous judges till round 3 anyway, before that you sing in front of the directors of the programme or record company workers.
