All I can think of is the classic Far Side comic panel with a boy playing a "pair" of cymbals one-handed (and the refrain, "I won't screw up, I won't screw up...")

Hello! Well I'm a drum major in my marching band and I appreciate you asking this question :) Well cymbals are a great instrument for a person who has never been in marching band. I would say the most difficult factor you might face...is maybe...marching in general. I'd say GO FOR IT! :)

you have to be able to walk , count to 4 and carry 1 pound in each hand
