If you mean Spears, NO!!!!!
She doesn't have the depth or the talent as an actress
to play this role.
Blance DuBois is one of the most misunderstood
and complex roles to emerge in American Theatre.
There should be many more qualifed actresses to portray
Blanche...maybe Reese Witherspoon.

Wow. What a great way to kill a great literary character. I really hope it's not true. Nothing can top Vivien Leigh's portrayal.

Oh she'll be just awful!! OK she was just about passable in Crossroads (I was forced to go see it) but that was hardly a stretch. Quite apart from talent (or lack thereof) she's just not old enough to play Blanch Dubois, who is an aging beauty. Terrible casting
