Position:Home>Performing Arts> Do you think Pacific Acting & Modeling Academy is a scam because they offer you

Question:Depends. If they're a legitimate (accredited) acting and modeling school with a clearly defined curriculum, that awards a recognized certificate or degree or diploma when you complete their course of study, then no. If they're a legitimate school, they should be able to give you a list of their graduates and tell you what percentage of their graduates have gone on to successful careers in show business or modeling.

If they're an acting and modeling "agency" offering to represent you and find work for you -- but requiring you to sign up for "classes" with them at $2500 a pop before they send you out on jobs, then YES -- they are scam artists.

Sounds like it. Let me guess. You will need to take classes for them to get you work ( but they rarely get anyone any work.)John Powers agency is like that also. When they want money out of you, its usually a rip off.
