yes, and no

3 years is doable, as long as you are taking enough classes, and working hard. I require my students to have taken 3 classes per week for at least one year before I will even consider them for pointe.

Your toes are curled in your point. they should be straight, with the movement coming from the ankle and arch of the foot, not the toes. Talk with your ballet teacher about this, and talk with your teacher about ways to strengthen and stretch your feet and ankles.

Only your teacher will know when you are ready for pointe. Let them know your goals, and they can give you a sense of where your weaknesses are that need to be worked on.

Very good! I'm impressed stick with it! I want to be a dancer also.

well i was 11 when i first started pointe so for me i think that 16 is a bit old, but it depends how long you have been dancing?
I dont really think it matters at how flexible your foot is but it must be very strong!
A good exercise to increase and develop your pointe is to sit near a couch or something with a small gap underneath and push you feet under the couch about half way and then straighten your legs!
