Where can I learn how to make oboe reeds?

Question:I'm taking up the oboe again after many years, but this time around I want to learn how to make my own reeds? Know where I could look for lessons or books, etc?

Most oboe players that I know make their own reeds. If you can find someone who does - that will be your best bet because you'll be able to have an expert walk you through the process. Plus you will eventually be able to tweak the reeds to suit your playing.
