It's too bad they aren't playing anymore. Anyways, here are other shows that I enjoyed a lot! Spamalot- If you love Monty Python, this is perfect. I love the reviews. One of the said, " It was so funny, I laughed until I stopped!" Lion King- A really great show if you liked the movie! Oklahoma- A really great show, you wouldn't want to miss it! Thoroughly Modern Milly- I saw this years ago so I don't remember it as well but I do remember that it was good! Peter Pan- A great show of fantasy and humor! Les Miserables- I really enjoyed this one. A love story with twists and turns, you wouldn't want to miss it! The Music Man- This show is so much fun, you'll be singing along with it! Hello Dolly- I saw this recently, it's about a woman that always arranges things. It's full of humor, you'll love it! I hope this helped! Rent.. Its on broadway and theres a dvd. Phantom of the opera. Its amazing. Besides the usual new ones. Rent etc. You should check out the older ones if they are still around such as Evita, The Color Purple, Guys and Dolls. You may want to branch out and check some of the Cirque du Soleil shows. Spring Awakening was amazing. The best musical I've seen in a long time. It's about a group of teenagers in the 1800's (or long ago) but with contemporary music. Lots of angst. It's pretty sexy, though, be prepared. My mom flipped a little. Fuerza Bruta is Off-Broadway (and they don't sing) but that's amazing too. It's from the same people who did De La Guarda's Learning to Fly. Tyra Banks mentioned Fuerza Bruta on on her modeling show. There are TONS!!!!! |
