Whats the best brand and type of guitar for a beginner?

Question:OK, I asked my dad if he can pay for guitar lessons and he said yeah but he won't buy me a new guitar. THis is the problem my brother used to play guitar and he doesn't anymore so he said i can keep that one but it SUCKS!!!. It a Spanish guitar i think and i need to tune i needed to tune it everyday when i was playing by myself and even if i didn't play it it would be really out of tune. So I need a good brand and type of guitar thats for beginners and if possible cheap( cause my dads really cheap)

my advice is to not buy the cheapest guitar you can find. try to go over 300$ or it will probably go out of tune frequently. ibanez and epiphone are good brands. play the guitar you want before you get it though.

An Epiphone Acoustic. The action is really good, its easy to play, it has good tuning heads and feels nice to play. You can buy an electronic tuner really cheaply and that should make your life easier.
