Any high quality string will work. The main things you want to know before you buy is what gauge you prefer, what style music you're going to play, and what type of sound you prefer.

Usually acoustic strings are bronze. I prefer a medium guage, but if you're fingers are weak, you should go with a lighter gauge.

I'd try GHS, Martin, or Gibson strings.

For an acoustic steel string guitar (as opposed to an electric guitar or a "classical" guitar) you want bronze or "phosphor bronze" strings. Several manufacturers make these. I use Elixir "nano-web" strings because they last a long time and I don't play that much. So when I get my guitar out of the case, the strings are not oxidized. You'll probably want "light" or "extra light" strings until you get better as a player and maybe move to "medium light". Most acoustic guitars don't like to have heavy (meaning anything "medium" and heavier) on them. Good brands include D'Addario, Martin, Dean Markley, etc.
