Can I install a D beam to my guitar somehow?

Question:I was looking at keyboards and there was a really cool feature called the D beam on one of them. I dont play keyboard but i like the idea so I was wondering if i could buy one online (something like a replacement part) so I could rig it to my guitar for extra effects ( I believe i would be the first one to do this) if you know of a website or anything please leave the url below in your comment. thanks

not sure about installing something like that into your guitar, but i have seen a few pedal based effects that are controlled by a ring on the picking hand.
