Piano.
=D
I play and it is such a fabulous instrument.
You can play such a wide variety of music with it.

Harpsichord. I like the way it sounds, and I like the music that was written for it in the 1700's.

violin or a string insturment like cello. great job opportunities. i know a guy who plays violin at universal studios and makes 5,000 bucks a month-not bad. and you can play soundtracks for movies if you get really good. plus mastering violin is an art in itself but its amazing when you finally do, such a beautiful sound =]]

Violin. I play it and I love the sound it makes.

Cello and piano.

Cello = it's my instrument. It can play any kind of music. It has one of the most gorgeous tones IMHO. It's fun to play and also one of the hugest challenges I've ever had in my life. The repertoire is lovely. It fits in so nicely with pop/rock/rap (trust me, I've done it...AWESOME!) it's not squeaky (when played right....) And has an amazing range of sounds. Job opportunities abound: studio, bands, orchestral (local and famous), solo, teaching, charity...so many things.

Piano = a harmonic wonderland. The kind of music written for this instrument can hardly be paralleled. Seriously, it's just magnificent. It, too, fits in everywhere musically. It reaches every kind of audience. It is probably the best instrument in my knowledge for teaching music, music theory, harmony, ear training, you name it. It's melodic and harmonic. Fantastic!

I can play piano, but I really like harp and soprano flute. They sound beautiful! Someone like Anthony Burger can make the piano absolutely amazing!! Watching him play is a thrill! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Bur...

The recorders -they are far too underestimated these days because I know many recorder virtuosos like Michala Petri & Pamela Thorby who are really skillful!!

Classical guitar.....I've loved this sound since I was very little, my father played guitar in the jazz clubs in Philly, so every night as I went to sleep all I ever heard was guitar music.....then one day he brought home a record of Andrea Segovia, and I flipped, and I said to my Father, that's the kind of guitar sound that I want to play, of course he was disappointed, he didn't like classical, he wanted me to play jazz, I do love jazz guitar, but that didn't come naturally to me, classical did, and that's what I've played ever since !!!!!!! Even though I only play classical guitar I love all the stringed instruments, electric guitar, violin, cello, and piano !!!!!!!

Violin.

You Can Go Crazy On It.
You Can Do So Many Techincal Things.
Not Just Soppy Shizz.

It Can Be Cool... If You Are Cool.

The violin because its my instrument. I do not currently play any other instruments but I have a feeling violin will still be my favorite when I do start. I love its tones and you can really make it sing.
