If you love it, but you're not as good at it, consider making it a hobby and not your career. I love performing on stage, but I just go for community theater instead of Broadway because I know it would be a LOT of work with little money on the way to get there.

If you love music, but can't perform, maybe you can go into a business school with a focus on managing musicians or music venues... something where your career will give you really cool music-related perks, like getting free concert tickets.

Or if you're technically savvy, maybe you can become a sound designer, editing together the music and lyrics of artists into complete works.

If you're good with imagery and are creative, you could be a graphic designer for up-and-coming musicians who need cd designs, MySpace designs, and poster designs.

If you like decorating your room and stuff like that, you could look into being a set designer, so that you could one day design the lights and sets that musicians use and travel with for their concerts.

You could even go into marketing, to help come up with commercials and advertising to help musicians become more famous.

There are lots of things to do other than play the music, but you can still be surrounded by it. Finding what you're good at is important; being valuable is part of having a satisfying career, and it's difficult to be a valuable musician unless you're willing to work hard to become very talented.

Best of luck!

Can't play a musical instrument?
Learn how to.
It's not that hard, actually.
Try a guitar, drums, flute, whatever you want.
Pianos are kind of expensive though, unless you get the electronic ones.
