we cant help you with so little information, what is the monologue about? is it serious, silly or what?
if none of that matters then just make up a name and give it attributes.
if you want a random character then pick a sarcastic, irreverent, fastidious one (like me). : )

Dinky Disseldorf.

you mean you wrote a monologue? what is the character like? her personality should help you choose the name... so tell us about the character's personality...

Adolf Hitler

Keep it short and simple; what name gives insight into your character?
Dawn might suggest a woman of possibility.
Margaret a dour sour sort (sorry to all the Margarets out there).
Buffy might be playful while Jane might be plain.
Joe might be ordinary, John stalwart and true, Mike a blunt opinionted sort, and Dick a true Dick....

Your best bet is to go to Baby Names dot Com and you will find thousands of possibilities.

angelica stewart, leslie gray, kayla McKinney,Stacy Inez, nazz marilius, julie court,Rebbecca roming,or renee sewell. it really depends on the way the characters position seems to go with the story.

Wow....you need to tell us a little more about it.

I'm just kidding. Try Johan Horton. It's pretty random.

if it's a monologue, why do you need a name? just refer to yourself as "I"
