Question:Everytime I play an note, I get little buzzes. Now I was thinking that maybe my fingers have to be pressed down more. Mind you, I JUST started playing.

Try to keep your fingers as close to the fret as possible. This is a very common problem for beginners whose hands aren't strong enough yet to hold the strings down sufficiently. Just keep at it and it'll come along!

Adam L (above) is right. But you could also make sure to use light gauge strings if you're a beginner. They are easier to press down. But they also break easier if you're rough with them.

Buzzing could also come from the strings being too low on the neck. They can be adjusted by adjusting the neck. Neck adjustment is done by turning the nut (on an acoustic guitar) inside the sound hole at the neck and body joint. You can take your guitar to a local dealer and they can make the proper string changes and adjustments for you for very little charge or free.

like that first dude said you just need to build hand strength so you can hold the strings down properly..... try buying one of those finger exerciser things
