Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i no the intro to smoke on the water

try some oldies from the 50's and 60's to help learn the basic chord shapes, most of them usually revolve around the same pattern. or if your looking for something a bit more modern try learning some greenday, learn some powerchords and barre chords..btw guitar playing isnt about impressing people, its about becoming a musician one day at a time...

Gee... WOW... you know 4 whole notes... I'm impressed.

LEARN SOME CHORDS FIRST.. and then pick a simple song from you GUITAR LEARNERS BOOK.... you DO have one, right?

wake me up when september ends.

and by the way knowing the intro of the smoke on the water is not impressive at all.(no offence)

Pink Floyd - "Wish You Were Here"

It has a good selection of chords, and interesting rhythm and some nice fills you can progress onto once you advance a bit.

Jimi Hendrix - "Hey Joe"
