Position:Home>Performing Arts> Why are there so many EXTRA talented people who are NOT famous?

Question:I believe that everyone's talents should be recognized. What's YOUR talent?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I believe that everyone's talents should be recognized. What's YOUR talent?

It's only because the ones that are "famous" are the ones with the record labels and companies putting in TONNES of money to support them.

All those rappers like 50 Pennies and Snoop Puppy Kitten are in the charts not because of talent, but because their major record labels are pounding money into promotion and exposure.

There are MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of insanely talented people out there who just can't afford to get themselves heard - it's a real shame.

I think there are more untalented people who are famous.

You have to be charismatic to be famous.

In before Paris Hilton bashing by jealous fat girls.

If everybody was famous it would be like "Ok, ill buy your record if you buy mine"

I know. People are so strereotypical, that they think pretty untalented people should be more famous than people with actual talent. Our worldis being more pornographic than it ever was, and it's really disgusting. I mean just look at Tila Tequila. Absolutely talent-less, but is very permiscuous online. Now she has a record deal and a reality TV show on MTV.

Because being famous is overrated. My talent is being humble. I'm # 757.

honestly its pretty simple, the more money your family/you have, the better chance you'll be famous. I'm very talented in so many ways and famous at my school though (im in middle school). I'm not hot, rich, nothing liek that. I've got a real positive outlook towards thingsa nd a willing, outgoing, personality. I love making jokes, etc. I've also been in many of my schools performances and am in many clubs (societiesm, etc.) at my school.

So while its better if you got a lot of money, everyone has a chance. Your parents though must be supportive and u must have a lot of perseverance.

Hope that helps :D

Sadly, we use the word *famous* when many of these so-called stars are *notorious* or *infamous*- famous for being BAD. If the world were fair (I wish . . .) then true ability and goodness would be enough - and people would also be humble. But some people will do ANYTHING to claw their way into the spotlight for a few minutes. I used to answer a lot of questions on the Singing list - until every day became a list of people asking how to become FAMOUS, not how to sing better. They all wanted to *get good* WITHOUT lessons or practice, etc. I have gotten myself into trouble by trying to *gently* tell some people that they need to work hard, get a reality check, study, etc., and then satisfaction will come - fame may NOT be what they seek. But many have totally unrealistic views - I genuinely blame the society we now live in. REALITY shows?? Give me a break - nothing is more artificial. People think that if they WANT if bad enough, it SHOULD come to them - and they are bolstered by people who do them NO FAVOR by saying "You go, Girl!" Everyone has a right to a dream - but they need to have a dream they can achieve through work, study, and perseverance. Fame - even popularity - are not important. They are the refuge of the insecure. Many people delight in seeing a *famous* person crash and burn, as so many do. What does THAT teach us? A true friend will tell you if you are right - and also guide you if you are pointed in the wrong direction. But many people do not want to hear that - they just think that FAME and MONEY will solve everything. I am fortunately at a place of great contentment in my life - things are as OK as I can want them to be. Other people may think I have *settled* - but I am still smiling . . .
