5 years is a lifetime for electronic ANYTHING... since technology doubles every 5 years... just buy a new one... most electronics can't be repaired if it's in the electronics... because the chips are use specific and proprietary... and it will cost more to fix it that it's worth.

Most electronics can be repaired - but sometimes due to integrated circuitry, it is cheaper to get something new. I own 5 electronic keyboards - and a Steinway grand piano, as well as thousands of dollars worth of other instruments, acoustic, and electronic - and most things have had a trip to the shop. Some instruments see service every 6 months to a year - it is the nature of the instrument and the amount of professional use it gets.

I have owned a Suzuki - you may wish to just *move on*. A lot has developed in the last 5 years, and you must have gotten your nickel's worth by now.
