I just got into the interlochen center for the arts summer camp?

Question:I KNOW i got it. they just sent me a letter congradulating me. but does that mean im good? I play violin and im in 8th grade

Congrats! That program is not easy to get into. As previously said, it means that you have great potential to be quite a musician. (And clearly already know your stuff to some degree.) Have a wonderful time. It is an excellent program.

That means you have the ability and potential to be more than good. Have a great time. I was there in 1957 and loved it.

YES! It's hard to get in there. Stop doubting yourself, and get ready to have a great time and learn a lot!

WOO HOO! I teach 8th grade music - and I would be thrilled if one of my kids made it! This means you are pretty darn good *for 8th grade* - and you should stay on the right track to do even better. Do not get all swell-headed - there is a long road ahead of you - but you are ON THAT ROAD!!! Have a blast - learn a lot - be humble, practice just the right amount - not so much that you fell like you are going to explode, or until your hands/back/ fingers hurt! Good for you!

Lucky you... they told me I would never make it in music... luckily they were wrong. I also tried to get into Julliard.. they were even LESS complimentary... he,he,he...
