What are some good songs to play on the guitar??

Question:ok somthing new ...somthing fairly easy....i like acoustic and electric is cool but i dont want it too be like emo scremo or the kind of music where they bash the guitars at the end

What songs would you like to learn on guitar?

People are always asking 'what are good songs to play on guitar' but it never seems to occur to them to learn songs they actually already know and like. There isn't some official body of music you have to learn on guitar, you know. (Well, there is if you're a pro.) Why not learn songs you like?

I agree with Lexo80. Pick some songs you like and know what they sound like (so you know what YOU should sound like) and then learn them. I've been playing Guitar for over 50 years and I have gone the whole route from folk Music, thru rock and concerts back to folk music and I'm currently doing Classical music on the Guitar because I've gotten bitten by the Segovia bug
