Question:I want to know how to tune my guitar to play drop d.

After that I want to drop it one more time. (C G C F A D)

How do I do it?

I have a tuner but I don't know how to do it.
It tells me stuff like 6E if I'm tuning the sixth string or 3G if I am tuning the third string.

I use this website when I tune my guitar-

You have several choices on how to do this.
some tuner's only recognize certain pitches in certain registers. some have a switch that sets them for alternate tunings. You have many checks to make sure you have good 4ths and 5ths in your tuning, use your harmonics and frets to check. 7th fret on drop C is the G for your G string and so on . . .
if you're tuning that low you'll have to be careful about the low tension. if you're regularly in this tuning you may want to get a different set of strings.

Here's every answer possible. Good luck.

If you can't play guitar normally, leave the instruments. I am not being sarcastic or anything but by using a drop tuning, you will eventuallly damage your neck . You are removing about 150 pounds of pressure when you drop tune.

Unless you don't care about your guitar, then go ahead. The frets will eventually buzz. If you just drop one string, that is no problem.
